Synopsis

With a turbulent history spanning over fifty years, Chicago’s Puerto Rican community has fought tirelessly to preserve itself in the face of opposition. Aquellos will reach back, interrogating the virtually undocumented past of the neighborhood, and look forward to the future of the community’s youth by examining education, gentrification, and the politics that influence both.
