The first day of the Symposium has been swell! The music has been great, despite the fowl weather. The minor problems due to flight cancellations have left us with a different, but even more wonderful lineup for tomorrow. Here’s an updated schedule, stop by for a few events or stay all day long! Due to weather, [Director of Food, Inc.,] Robert Kenner’s flight was cancelled. Tonight’s events (Dinner + Keynote) have been rescheduled to tomorrow night.

Symposium: Starts this FRIDAY!

I hope you all are revved up for a weekend of amazing socially-conscious media fun. There will be free food, great conversation and a showcase of student creations.

You can see the premieres of Language of the Unheard and all of our Open Media Grants on Saturday after workshops given by professionals with some pretty amazing credentials.

And of course, the keynote on Friday night will be given by Robert Kenner and involve some amazing food from Blind Faith!

This weekend is NOT to be missed!

Music Fest and TOMs Painting!

Join Inspire and help us kick off our 2011 symposium! Pray for sun and warmth this Friday on the Norris South Lawn. There will be music by incredible student bands and musicians and free craft supplies to decorate your shoes! Afterward, don’t forget to stop on by Robert Kenner’s keynote!

Everyone, if you haven’t already, head over to the Inspire Symposium website to buy your TOMs Shoes to decorate! Remember, when you buy one pair, a second pair is donated. You must purchase yours by Wednesday, April 27 to be able to come and paint with us during the Symposium!

The lineup is set for the 2011 Symposium. Starting with a music festival and TOMs shoes painting event on Friday, we’ll end the night with a keynote presentation by Food, inc. director, Robert Kenner. Sunday will bring workshops and the premiere of our Open Media Grants and film grant!
